Congrats to President Obama on winning his reelection effort.

While I have a very different political leaning, his campaign deserves credit for an excellent GOTV effort. He was able to overcome the number one issue jobs by appealing to a wider audience on a number of social issues.

As for the next two years, it is clear the American people like gridlock because that is what they served up. The House not only retained by Republicans, but strengthened. The same for the Senate. Maybe now they'll get around to passing a budget. Crazy right?

The President will not be able to push his agenda through easily, though he has not documented this agenda other than more of the same. I seriously hope he abandons this nonsense about a Secretary of Business. This is a waste of taxpayer investment. There is a reason Secretary of Treasury exists.

We now know that the American people will get to experience the joy of socialized medicine and all the tax implications which will take effect during this second term. I am actually looking forward to seeing how people like this. I am hopeful that they can remove certain taxes from the law (like the 2.5% tax on GROSS for companies specializing in medical devices).

In the next two years, the GOP will need to address this identity crisis. I am ever-hopeful that they will throw off the establishment/consultancy class that pushed for Romney...but I do not know. I am a libertarian at heart...but I could never take that party seriously while they wasted such precious political commodity on legalizing drugs (I support but this is a SMALL isse for me).

Anyway...went a little long there so I apologize. Anyway, here is hoping the President can find a way to lead us forward. I'm gonna focus on 2 Chronicles 7:14 though.
