I was browsing for tycoon games. I had just finished playing some flash games to make money (mortgage meltdown, real estate tycoon) and they just weren't enough. I craved something different, but still wanted to make fake virtual bucks. So I googled "stock trading games online free" and it came up with a few sites that I tried, but didn't really like. HSX happened to be on the top ten on the list, and so I clicked it, checked it out, and knew I wanted to trade Hollywood stocks immediately..
GRANTED, I thought I'd be able to buy stocks for people like Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift (as a rapper/singer/songwriter I'm into [not in] the music industry). I also hoped that the starbonds adjusted as the people continue to work not just on movies, but things such as modeling gigs, new business, sponsors/endorsement deals coming up.. That'd have a whole different effect on them [starbonds] I think..
Overall I highly enjoy the game. I like 'making money' and what I know for sure is that a stock market can be awfully generous or ridiculously malevolent. I'm an optimist so I take my chances.
