i have a perfect example of how badly health care is ****ed up.

my friend margaret, the one i was trying to help raise money for? she had her brain tumor removed on the 21st. they moved her out of ICU yesterday...not even 24 hours ago...and today they send her home. i just got back from the hospital not an hour ago. she cant stand up without help...she cant eat cause her face is so sore, they doped her up on morphine an hour and a half before they send her home...and do you think shes going to be getting any in home care? hell no! she doesnt qualify. what they did today is unbelievable, unethical and unforgivable. even if hsx would allow it i dont have enough profanity to state my real opinion. her nurse is going to be her 16 year old daughter when she isnt in school and her eldest daughter when shes not at work. suffice to say im a little bit upset right now.
