ABC had their upfronts today (which is when the networks announce their fall schedules preview their new shows).

Agents Of SHIELD is renewed for next season and will air Sept - Beginning of November and then continue February to end of season.  The show will also be shown an hour later next season (9pm)

Agent Carter is a new Marvel tv show that will be aired in the Agents of SHIELD timeslot November - February and will have a short season (like 13 episodes).

1)

Skye's parent is shown as a humanoid (who is dripping).  Flowers said in past episodes that Skye's parents were in China and were monsters who killed everybody in a village.  SHIELD agents risked their lives to rescue Skye and hide her from the people who are looking for her.

Flowers says to Skye's father 'I know you never expected to see me again' = they have met before.  Flowers says in the episode that she has no loyalty to anybody and that she only cares about evolution.  Flowers was interested in following the Clarivoyaint because she wanted to know 'what she would become'.  Flowers also has said that her and Skye have the same thing inside (indicating that they have a connection but are not family related).

Coulson, Garrett and Skye were injected with TAHITI.  In past episodes it said that genetic material was taken from some blue people to make TAHITI.  It was said in past episodes that TAHITI had been tested many times and had failed causing mental problems.  It was said by Coulson that they did have success with TAHITI when they erased the memory of the procedure from the testee meaning some tests were successful.

Coulson was injected with a certain strain of TAHITI.  Skye was injected with that same strain,  Flowers condensed all the remaining genetic material from the remaining blue people to make one last vial, which was injected into Garrett (so Garrett got some of the same strain as Coulson and Skye).  Garrett was healed like Coulson and Skye but he was aware of the procedure which caused him to go crazy.  Garrett also claimed to see the universe and other super powered type stuff.

In Marvel comic books, there is a race of blue aliens called the Kree.  The Kree are an advanced society that are in a neverending war with another race called the Skrulls (who are called the Chitauri in the Marvel Cinematic Universe aka the aliens who invade New York City in The Avengers movie).

In comic books, the Kree come to earth to experiment on humans to see if they can be used as soldiers in the war.  The experiments cause mutations and some of the test subjects gain superpowers.  The Kree call this new race of superpowered humans 'The Inhumans' (there is a HSX moviestock).  The Kree eventually leave earth and the superpowers are passed down genetically (which could be a way for Marvel to have mutants in their universe without calling them mutants). One human is injected with Kree biological material by a friendly Kree solider to save her life and she becomes a Marvel superhero named Ms Marvel now going by the name Captain Marvel (flight; strength; speed; survive in space).  Garrett was injected with blue people (Kree) genetic material and gained strength.  Marvel has talked about bringing both the Inhumans and Ms Marvel into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (link) (link) after the first Ms Marvel upgraded her name to Captain Marvel, another female takes up the name Ms Marvel... her photo in the second link... doesn't that look similar to Skye?.

One of the main Kree characters is Captain Marvel, a soldier/scout who comes to earth to survey humans.  It was his genetic material that was used to create Ms Marvel. At another time his genetic material is combined with another human that results in a shared consciousness. A human sharing a consciousness with an advanced alien being is likely to cause mental problems (like experienced with TAHITI subjects) (experienced with Garrett - who could see the universe?)

I think Garrett and Coulson were drawing an alien blueprint to build a device to contact the Kree (see the moviestock description)

The Kree will be appearing in The Guardians Of The Galaxy movie this summer.

So SHIELD is back to being legit (when they arrested all the bad guys - the surviving military leaders were standing next to Coulson as he explained that the baddies will all be normal people once their implants are removed.)

Coulson is in charge of it all.  The Avengers are a SHIELD project, and Coulson is in charge of SHIELD, wouldn't he have to have communication with Avengers in order for them to be grouped for Avengers 2?

Samuel L Jackson leaves the Marvel Cinematic Universe (for a while - happened in the comic books too and he stayed gone until... earth gets used as a pawn between the Kree and Skrulls (Secret Invasion)... oh... there are the Kree again!)
