let's lighten the mood, shall we?

So I'm a prankster, always have been and always will be. Got some really great stories, and my intent is to share a couple here and hopefully someone can bounce some ideas off me (or maybe some pranks you've pulled as well).

1. About a year ago I pulled this prank on a friend who has cameras installed on the exterior of his home. He lives with my best friend (and oddly they are both gun nuts). So I get with my buddy who I'm not pranking that lives there as well. I tell him what I intend to do and to "please not shoot me on your property" late at night.

I wait until the prankee buddy is away on business. I know if they see something off on the property they will go back and check the tapes. They have had several break-ins over the last couple years. So I come up with a plan to wear a chrome skull mask and stand in their driveway, doing nothing but staring straight into the camera for 15 or so minutes (with my hand pointing at said camera).

So it's a weeknight, I get in my car drive 30 minutes to their home, park at a school over half a mile away and proceed to walk to the property. As this is not a great area, I have a few reservations, but the thrill of the prank is too irresistible.

I don't want oncoming traffic seeing me walking along the road at 2am (in all black), so I time upcoming cars and run when none are around. I crouch down in a ditch when I can see them coming from afar.

I get to the house and stand directly in the driveway. They have motion lights, so the cameras pick me up fine for 60 seconds or so, but I have to move to trigger them back. Keep in mind that if a car passes me while I'm doing this, it's going to look very suspicious (as they sit on a corner lot).

Bottom line my 15 minutes turns into more like 3 because I'm worried about cars that are passing. I walked very calculated to the spots on and off the property, as if I were a true psychopath. Pretty much it was a golden performance.

So, you're asking how did I get my buddy to watch the tapes? Well he was returning that morning from away on business. By the afternoon, he arrives home and on the glass window on the side garage door I had placed a typed note that only said "get out of my house".

Needless to say the note alone scared the **** out of him. And when he watched the tapes it was amplied 100x. I guess he actually gasped and screamed from the video. Good thing my buddy that lived there was in on it because the prankee was getting ready to call the police and deliver the evidence. Not that I would have been caught, but he was so scared we had to clue him in immediately. My plan was to do this over the course of a year, 3 or 4 times and then show up at their annual XMas party wearing the mask, but it didn't work out.

Still, it was a hell of a prank that took a lot of planning and effort. My buddy was not too happy though. So pissed in fact he would not uplaod the tape to YouTube like he does all his other break-ins. I told him he should be flattered for me to go out of my way to do such a prank.
