I could definitely dig that. My guess is though that they will stick with the same family. I feel like we would have heard something by now if it was going to be a "True Detective" type anthology. I will say though that it will be extremely hard for them to replace an actor like Ben Mendelsohn. I thought he did the finest acting work I've seen on TV in years and years (yep, I liked his performance more than even the TD gent's).
I'd have to go back to 1 or 2 actors from The Wire or Swearengen (Ian McShane) from Deadwood if I wanted to give Mendelsohn some serious competition for truly becoming the character. I may have a hard time seeing him in any other role after his amazing work on this show.
