I didnt like it. Reasons inside
My biggest problem with netflix shows is outside of OITNB, they seem more intent on encouraging binge watching than building self contained narratives inside each episode. FOr the first 7 episodes they just wanted to hint at a larger story while continuing to establish the same dynamic between characters over and over again. Its poor storytelling.
Acting was strong, but it would have been more effective as a two hour movie or a four hour mini series.
And the son showing at the end is a cheat. Not one hint to it until the end and then you just introduce him to have a 2nd season.
I do think this is gonna catch up with them.
