Springsteen at the Sports Arena: 3 1/2 Hours of sheer bliss. What a performer!
I've got to get a few hours of sleep, but I just got home, the whoe went until nearly midnight! He just keeps going and going. It was an incredible display of artistry from the man.
This was exactly what I needed; my family has been going through some real **** lately. This was a complete respite from all of it.
The Sports Arena is being torn down after these final 3 shows by Bruce. The media in L.A. has made a big deal that he'll have played almost 40 times there, beginning in 1980. I counted it up, and I've seen about half, I THINK tonight was my 20th Springsteen concert at the old warhorse.
If you live out here, go. You'll have a good time. Even after all these years, he still has the crowd eating out of the palm of his hand.
