Despite rampant racist remarks, not one, ever from me. I was shocked at the racial hate and persistent misinformation allowed on this board,
while merely repeating movie information gets scrubbed. The practice of twisting news and intentionally posting misleading information in order to push an agenda has become so common that some believe it is acceptable and work hard at looking for those opportunities. It creates divisiveness. Continually claiming racial motivations for acts entirely unrelated to race, and continually attacking another race is racism. It also serves to only create division. There's a reason that Russia is trying so hard to agitate Americans against each other using the exact same techniques. They know a house divided against itself cannot stand. Discussions about political, cultural, and social differences based on actual facts and honesty can be rewarding. Deception, dishonesty and baiting only creates hate, mistrust, frustration and resentment.
I started commenting on this board to have civil, constructive debate with those of a different opinion. But after time learned deception was intentional, and hateful, racist comments were encouraged. I backed away once for a period of time, and will this time permanently. Thanks to those responsible for devising and maintaining an elaborate, fun game. I plan to return to that and that only. I apologize to anyone that feels I ever crossed the line from debating facts and getting personal. I always tried to maintain decorum but admit that intentional deception and hatemongering gets frustrating.
