But for me:
complete betrayal of trek/rodenberry values (starfleet is now xenophobic with their own fox news service (the refusal to help romulans, the early picard interview), foul language: admiral telling picard to STFU! and many more, they had been using synths as what slave labor? then when some turn (how?) and blow up mars they ban all synths. (really?) Drug and alcohol abuse. Conspiracy on top of conspiracy. Cold blooded murders.
then romulans homeworld destroyed. yet the resources to study a borg cube? and have 200+ warbirds to chase after soji? and what are they even doing with the cube helping restore the drones? and how does starfleet let them have a borg cube in the first place! and how has soji been working on the cube, (dahj was just a student on earth)?
romulan have an all women secreter secret police, and an all women nun group? Why does Romulan sister person (quick tell me her name, ill wait) jettison all the drones in space to kill them? (when drones can survive in space oops)
Then the synth planet. no idea where to start, but just android can do mindmeld bad enough. Space orchids.
Picard is not true to earlier picard (ok hard for stewart to step back into role, but thats the writers responsibilty to help)
Poor at times fx (some glitchy stuff here and there. too much obvious green screen. some fxs are so over the top fantastical to be taken seriously (space orchids!)
then the big main plot: super duper synth life from 10000?000? years ago (uh how?) left a message for future synths that organics will kill them so when they do call us and we will come help you kill them first? (so are current synths are capable of being either 1. evil or 2. gullible)
and theres more but bleh
