I need examples from media about changing your perspective. Do you have any that I may have forgotten

I was recently inspired to look at Dead Poets Society once again and the thing I took from it this time was the importance of changing your perspective on the world. I'm trying to inspire myself to write again which is something I haven't been able to do for about three and a half years due to my medication change. Right now I'm brainstorming around the movie as well as Anthony Bourdain's perspective on how travel expands one's perspective and I'm also writing about the episode of MASSH where Hawkeye goes blind for a couple days and questions whether or not seeing is actually an advantage.

Does anybody have any more which have affected them in any way?
