Here at home, light travels at a steady state speed of 186,000 miles per second. Our home has a consistant 24 hour day mad up of 60 minute intervals that are 60 seconds long. This is how we measure time and speed. Everything travels based on per second, minute and hour.
However, out there on Jupiter, a 24 hour day is only 10 hours long. This changes everything when basking in the Sun on the beaches of Jupiter. The fact is the time of day on Jupiter moves 2.25 times faster than it does on Earth and that causes the speed of light to increase. A whopping, 414,000 miles per hour.
Conversely, on the Sun, a day, or one rotation on it's axis, is 27 days. Because of this, the speed of light decreases 27 times to a speed easily obtainable here on Earth in most cars. The fact is time moves slowly on the Sun than it does on Earth and this causes the speed of light to decrease. A slow crawl of 115 miles per hour.
The Moon hourever is timeless due to the lack of rotation upon it's axis. The only time on the moon is the time you take with you. This is where my ramble runs into a problem. If there is no time, how can anything happen. Does this cause things to happen very slow, or very fast? The only thing I have to go on is the NASA footage. It looks like it was filmed in high spped and then slowed down to make everyone bounce. But that's another Nasa film to think about.
What does this have to do with HSX? Absolute nothing. It does however that if all days are equal everywhere, the speed of light changes from next to an impossible rate to something I can achieve on the freeway. It also changes the size of the Universe from one that is unimaginably large to one that nearly fits into the solar system. Which was the size of the Universe at the beginning of the 20th Century.
I support the steady state Univese. It has always been here and always will. There could not have been a "bang" as the molecules needed for a "bang" to travel were not created until after the Universe began to expand. A "bang" also requires oxygen to burn. Another item not created until after the Universe started to expand.
So for those of us who likes things to remain consistant and constant. I give you the never ending Universe who's laws never change through time. While I'm most likely wrong in the eyes of many, just remember the Universe is just over 100 years old and only recently has a common and most accepted theory come into the light
Have a great day, bong hits for all!
