Roll up the newspaper real tight the size of a small log - it burn alot longer and will get the other logs started {nm}

thx fer the help all.....got it lit in under 30mins this time.....the knots helped alot new furnace comes at 8am {nm} Dec 28, 18:20
btw dont buy the fake logs that burn for 4 hours. yeah they burn but no where near as hot as a good real fire. {nm} Dec 28, 18:25
