Commissions
I understand that there is a 1% commission on each transaction when it is bought and when it is sold but, when these two short purchases (adding up to 25,000 shares) are covered the commission is doubled on the two purchases and then the commission on the covering amount is added to the doubled commission. If you have purchased 2 shorts on the same starbond (20,000 & 5,000) and subsequently covered that starbond, check the amount of commission you were charged). I'm just wondering why in this instance the commission is doubled on the original purchase when sold.
