No free cash? No reason to come here every day!

Just an observation- If the point of running a website (or one of the points) is to generate ad revenue, why get rid of the free cash? With no ad-clicking to get extra HSX cash, I have no reason to come here every day like I used to... Maybe once a month, just to check in on my portfolio...
What's the reasoning behind getting rid of the survey and the banner "bribes"?
