Bradley Cooper directs A Star is Born and stars opposite Lady Gaga. An up-and-coming young actress marries an established actor, but their relationship is strained by the fact her star is rising while his is falling. The original 1937 A Star is Born starred Janet Gaynor and Fredric March. The film was then remade in 1954 with Judy Garland and James Mason, and again in 1976 with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson.
