Description

Drew Barrymore will play a Greenpeace activist in Everybody Loves Whales based on real events. The Soviet Union and the U.S. teamed up to save three gray whales trapped under ice in the Arctic Circle. The event lent to increased goodwill between President Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev. Ken Kwapis directs the Universal film.
