Description

Born in Shoreham, New York in 1961, D.B. Sweeney was a star athlete in high school and even aspired to become a professional athlete. After graduating from Tulane University, he continued on to N.Y.U.'s Tisch School of the Arts. His big break on the screen came in Francis Ford Coppola's Gardens of Stone. Sweeney starred as Shoeless Joe Jackson in Eight Men Out. He played another athlete in The Cutting Edge.
