Dragon's Lair is an animated feature film of the ground-breaking arcade game from the 1980s. The laser disc game documented the animated adventures of Dirk the Daring and Princess Daphne. Not much is known about this project other than that creator Don Bluth has decided to develop the movie as an ongoing story rather than remaking the original.
Bluth, a former Disney animator, has found success outside the Mouse Kingdom with films such as The Secret of Nimh, Anastasia, and Titan A.E.. Bluth will be working out of an independent animation studio in Arizona with Gary Goldman.
