The hit Broadway musical Dreamgirls will become a feature film. Based on the rise of Diana Ross and the Supremes, the musical details the story of the three black female singers who try to crossover to white listeners during the early sixties. The film version will be adapted and directed by Kinsey helmer Bill Condon, who received an Oscar screenplay nomination for Chicago.
