The comic got his first big break when he was chosen to tour the country with comedian Andrew Dice Clay. While in L.A., he made a series of impromptu performances at the Comedy Store. This led to his featured appearances on HBO's Def Comedy Jam. In 1999, Griffin made the jump to feature film with Deuce Bigalow.
