Description

The documentary First Descent details the rise of the worldwide phenomena snowboarding. The film features pioneers like Shawn Farmer, Nick Perata and Terje Haakonsen as well as current champs Shaun White and Hannah Teter. The five stars converge on the unapologetic terrain of snow blanketed Alaskan mountains where they attempt to descend virgin peaks. Through it all, they share their stories, experiences and opinions about the sport. Kevin Harrison directs with Kemp Curley who wrote the script.
