The thriller High Crimes is based on the novel by Joseph Finder. Ashley Judd stars as a law professor and high-priced lawyer who has to use all her forensic skills to defend her husband who has been accused by the Army of being a deserter and is also suspected of mass killings in El Salvador. Judd's Kiss the Girls co-star Morgan Freeman and Jim Caviezel join the Fox and New Regency co-production directed by Carl Franklin.
