Meryl Streep stars as Julia Child in a comedy based on the book Julie and Julia by Julie Powell. Amy Adams plays the author who in real life embarked on a project to cook all of chef Child's 524 recipes. She documented her experiences in a blog which caught on with food types. The film will also cover a part of Julia Child's life. The film is adapted and directed by Nora Ephron.
