Description

The Singing Detective is a story about a dying man who finds the strength to heal himself by using his imagination. Robert Downey, Jr. stars as a writer who is in the hospital due to a nasty case of psoriasis. Suffering from high fever, it is discovered that his mental state may hold a key to his cure. The film is based on well-received British mini-series starring Michael Gambon. Keith Gordon directs this picture financed by Mel Gibson and his partner Bruce Davey's company, Icon Productions.
