Description

Superstar features Molly Shannon as Mary Katherine Gallagher, a nerdy high school girl in search of a passionate, no-holds-barred, Hollywood-style kiss.

When she does not have any luck with her amorous efforts, Mary decides that she must somehow become a celebrity.

And the dance contest in her hometown is the perfect first step on the long road to stardom.

Superstar co-stars Will Ferrell as the object of Mary's affection, and is directed by Bruce McCulloch, veteran actor from TV's The Kids in the Hall.
