Description

David Lynch will direct yet another intriguing project when he tackles the story of Alvin Straight. Mr. Straight was unable to procure a driver's license due to his poor vision. He was against taking any other form of transportation or having anyone else drive him to reunite with his estranged brother. His solution was to fill a trailer with a tent, some gasoline and a few other supplies, hitch it to his 1966 lawn tractor, and drive from Laurens, Iowa, to Mt. Zion, Wisconsin.
