Description

Adapted from the novel ‘Towelhead’ by Alicia Erian, this drama is about a young Arab girl coming of age during the first Gulf War. The girl is obsessed with a bigoted Army reservist while trying to fend off her strict Lebanese father. Alan Ball, who won an Oscar for scripting American Beauty, will direct the film.
