The Vacation franchise will get a reboot from New Line Cinema. The 1983 original starred Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo who led the Griswold family on a cross-country road trip. The remake will focus on son Russell who takes his own family on a similar vacation. The film is written and directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley.
