Description

The Chinese film Wolf Totem follows a Beijing student who is sent to Inner Mongolia in 1969 to teach shepherds. He bonds with the locals and wants to protect wolves from the government. Jean-Jacques Annaud directed the film based on the semi-autobiographical Lu Jiamin novel.
