Kung Fu Panda 3 [PAND3] remained at the two spot with $12.5 million, bringing its total to $117.1 million.
In a battle between heaven and hell, the faith-based Risen [CLAVU] opened in third place at $11.8 million, while the demonic horror The Witch [TWITC] debuted fourth with $8.7 million, an impressive sum for an A24 indpendent pickup.
Rounding out the top 5, How to be Single [HTBSN] dropped 54% in its second outing to $8.2 million.
The Jesse Owens biopic Race [RACE] crossed the finish line in sixth with $7.3 million.
Zoolander 2 [ZOOL2] tumbled 60% to $5.5 million and seventh overall.
