E! has debuted the trailer for the action comedy Knight and Day [KNDAY], one of many playing in front of Avatar. Tom Cruise [TCRUI] reunites with Vanilla Sky co-star Cameron Diaz [CDIAZ] as a couple thrown together on a plane and are now on the run for unspecified reasons. The success of action comedy often rides on the chemistry between the two leads. Cruise and Diaz sparkle on screen together in a fair impersonation of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, unlike say Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston in The Bounty Hunter.
