First trailer for My Penguin Friend

Roadside Attractions has unveiled the official trailer for the family film My Penguin Friend [TPATF] based on a true story.  Jean Reno [JRENO] stars as a Brazilian fisherman who saves a penguin, which then returns to visit him every year.  My Penguin Friend opens in theaters on August 16th.


Inspired by the incredible true story of DinDim the Penguin, this enchanting adventure is about a little lost penguin who - after being rescued from an oil spill - transforms the life and soul of the heartbroken fisherman. The penguin and the fisherman become unlikely friends, so bonded that even the vast ocean cannot divide them.
