Showing there’s life left for a 27-year-old franchise, Scream VI [SCRM6] opened atop the weekend box office with an estimated $44.5 million, beating the $34 million debut set by 2000’s Scream 3. The horror sequel attracted an audience that was 51% male and 71% between the ages of 18-24.
