Warner Bros. has released the domestic trailer for the family film sequel Paddington 2 [PADT2], which was previously going to be distributed by The Weinstein Co.. After having already opened in the United Kingdom, Paddington 2 will reach Stateside on January 12th.
This much-anticipated sequel finds Paddington (Ben Whishaw [BWHIS]) happily settled with the Brown family in London, where he has become a popular member of the local community, spreading joy and marmalade wherever he goes....
Disney once again reigned supreme over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend as Coco [DDLM] tallied an estimated $49.0 million over the weekend and $71.2 million since Wednesday to deliver the fourth-highest opening over the 5-day weekend. The Pixar original attracted an audience that was 53% female and 55% uner the age of 25.
Justice League [JLEAG] finished second with $40.7 million over 3-day, dropping 57% from its opening. The DC superheroes have banked $171.5 million.

Insteading of soaring to new heights with its superheroes team-up, Justice League [JLEAG] fell to new depths with an estimated $96.0 million to top the weekend box office. The opening is the lowest amongst the DC superhero films from this iteration: Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman, which had the previous low at $103 million.
