you can short with whatever available cash you have and just hold onto your original position...not called a "flip"
Personally, I think that's counter-intuitive thinking gameplay wise (you think its going down, why hold it?), but some people like keeping their total gained numbers up there or have a "loyalty" to certain stocks.
