So the price works like this....
Say you have a movie that just had a box office weekend of $30 million. The stock would adjust like this
30 * 2.7 = 81
The reason it adjusts like that is because it is a good indicator how the movie will do in 4 weeks. Now the movie might have great legs and delist higher than the adjust, but this is the formula HSX uses for a standard weekend. There are holiday adjusts as well and you would need to look at the market calendar for that info. So yes the stock can go up after the adjust, just depends on the movies legs.
