Thanksgiving releases tend to have poor legs by delist, though that doesn't mean poor legs overall.

FROZE is a great (but extreme) example - it adjusted to 186 and delisted at 192 in mid December. Now it's closing in on 400. Over half its box office was made over Christmas/January. Audiences just have too many non-movie things to do between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I'm pretty sure I normalized for Thanksgiving releases when I put this data together. One other reason affecting Novembers poor legs may be that it had more than its fair share of fan-base movies that delisted around or below a 2.0 multiplier, like the Harry Potter and Twilight franchises.
