Thank you for the advice. You make a lot of good points and I need to think this through further. I like the idea about layering in
the different factors. Perhaps even looking at which quadrants the movies fall into for example . Quads/ratios (thinking about your demographics comment). Looks like I am a lot further from completion than I had imagined. I have spent many hours already on this, but if I am going to understand the delist multiples accurately, I am going to have to take what you and Rogermore are saying into account.
I am only going back to 2010. I will build 2014 as I go, so that's going to be 5 years (as you suggest). I think that the movie performance changes over time, so going any further back would not likely yield good comparisons/ratios to how things are behaving currently.
Thanks again for taking the time. I have bookmarked this thread and will re-visit the valuable suggestions when I have finished data gathering and am ready for analysis.

Thanksgiving releases tend to have poor legs by delist, though that doesn't mean poor legs overall. Feb 09, 06:50
