Would be too easy. There are certain trends, but few real patterns. The one about east coast sell off before bedtime? It doesn't always hold
true. There might be sometimes a slight downtick on some stocks around that time, and then they just keep going until reset.
Other times, it all reverses around bedtime east coast. It's a bit strange.
I haven't gone real spreadsheet about it though, so I don't know if it systemically occurs on certain weekdays.
To me it seems more that it has to do with things like big news on the boards (preferably about expensive securities) or a big IPO the same or next day. Then you see a lot more consistent sell-offs of course, and especially with other expensive movie stocks for films that are months from opening, or of expensive star bonds - even if they were worth holding (for a bigger port).
