I can't say for certain, but I have a feeling that if the stock was to say move 12 cents when you max long 100k shares
It will still move those exact 12 cents if you buy in 25k increments. I personally very rarely do 25k lots, most of the time I trade in 50k lots, that way the first 50k will move 6 cents, and the 2nd lot will move 6 cents. But you will aleady make 6 cents on the first lot = 3H$ k. If you make 20 trades per day, that's extra 60H$k in the account at the end of the day.
Problem is, we don't know if the stock is programmed to move 12 cents, 20 cents, or has breaks on it = no move at all, so the extra clicks might not be worth anything at all. Plus, as the others have mentioned, if its a fast moving stock, the extra 6 cents you might or might not save will cost you if stock jumps 50 cents.
