data = GM_getValue("hsxROTOnicks", "");

ROTOnicks = data.split(splitCh);

I don't know if you want to mess with it, but, a quick edit might fixer up.

this line: data = GM_getValue("hsxROTOnicks", "");

...in the 6-year-old version, would have looked like this: data = GM_getValue("hsxROTOnicks", "---");

thereby giving a default of at least something in the data string, and thus one value in the ROTOnicks array. It didn't seem to be necessary, so, I removed it.

That GM_getValue line appears 3 times, and would need the dashes in all three.
