Blockbuster Warrant Question (inside)

I understand that the BW are for the first 12 weeks of the movie being in the theaters but which date is used when a movie starts limited and then goes wide? Is the limited release date the one used or the wide release date? I realize that the difference is likely minimal but I'm curious just the same. Thanks!
