day is set, if the pic gets 650+ screens, it will delist after 4 weekends. Less than 650 screens, it delists in 12 weekends.
If there is no news on a project in development for an extended time (it may be 2 or 3 years I honestly do not know)or if news comes out that the project is dead (i.e. that John Cusack starrer that was being shot in Europe), the project changes phase to "Concept" and may delist at anytime thereafter unless news crops up that there is positive movement. BUNYL was an example of that. Joe Carnahan was set to shoot but Reese Witherspoon dropped out and the project went into limbo and eventually word must've come out that it was dead. It went from Development to Concept to Delist.
I believe that "Wrapped" stocks have three years to get an opening date set before they, too, delist. But don't take my word on that alone. Someone else may have to confirm that.
