Options are delisted using "actual" gross.

When a movie opens over the weekend, weekend "estimates" are released on Sunday mornings.

This allows news outlets to announce the weekend winners and box office starting Monday morning.

The studios count the actual ticket sales and release the "actual" box office numbers on Monday afternoon.


The studios try their very best to estimate Sunday's box office based on Friday and Saturday box office (the same thing we do playing HSX!) and that is why Sunday's numbers are estimates.

The weekend "actuals" are posted here on Mondays (Tuesdays on holiday weekends).  Options delist using "actuals".  Moviestocks delist using actuals and starbonds adjust using actuals.
