This is pretty good! Couple suggestions:
Maybe flesh out the tagging piece to include what types of news are appropriate for tagging. When I took my multi-year break and came back, I thought any discussion about a movie should be tagged to that movie - and even now it's common to see that inadvertantly misused. Having my first few posts scrubbed was a little embarassing ('rookie mistake').
For multipliers, maybe add the Previous B/O + (fri - sun)*2.0 holiday multiplier (although it's rare).
However, this is a FANTASTIC idea and strong execution on your part! Thank you for your efforts!
