Do you buy a Put option or Short it an opening weekend of a movie?

I want to speculate on an opening weekends and I believe the movie is going to bomb.

I'm thinking I buy shares in a Put option if I believe it's going to bomb.

If I short a Put option then I believe it's going to do well.

Is that correct?
