Sunday sell-offs after the adjust era

I saw a run on people selling SPLIT today, even though it had a huge opening weekend, is expected to have decent legs, and shows every sign of delisting considerably higher than its current price, or even its price first thing this morning. When we had Sunday adjusts, I understood the big Sunday selloffs (and of course did it myself), but now I don't see the logic.Is it just about hedging your bets?

This isn't a question only about SPLIT, to be clear--I just expected Sunday selloffs to not be as big a thing after adjusts, but so far, doesn't look like it.
