But, my hypothesis is that one of the purposes of the game is to create value for Cantor Fitzgerald. Anything that encourages player engagement should result in better predictive data which should make the data more valuable. Anything that discourages player engagement works against that goal. Increasing the interest rate of stagnant cash (yes, even by a marginal amount) works to discourage player engagement.
