You were passing mostly inactive ports. You will not pass active ports if you are only making interest + cash from games. You were
never actually on pace to reach the top spot. Moving up in rank is very different when you are a small port vs when you are a medium or large port.
Your strategy is excellent if the goal is simply never to have any red days. However, that is not the way to build a large port and increase your rank. Best of luck Neil, I hope you actually follow through this time and take some of the advice you've been ignoring.
